Facebook Chat - 11am, 9th March

At the beginning of February, we set up a Silver Cross Facebook page, and the response has been phenomenal. Thank you to all of you who have joined, and for the great comments and suggestions that you have left on the page.

Alan Halsall, the owner of Silver Cross, has read all of these comments, and wants to chat to as many of you as possible about your ideas. He will therefore be 'taking over' the Facebook page on Tuesday 9th March at 11am, to host a live webchat! If you would like to participate, please tune into the page this Tuesday, and simply write your question on the wall between 11am and noon. Alan will try to answer as many questions as possible in that time

So remember, if you have any burning questions about Silver Cross that you would like to pose to the owner himself, tune into our Facebook page this Tuesday, 9th March at 11am!

Hope to see as many of you as possible then!

I own a Pedigree Pram, bought when my son was born 40 years ago, it is still my pride and joy (so is my son). Can't believe I found a site for English Pram lovers. I live in the USA, so don't see many "real" Prams. Hope to have at least one more Grandchild so I can get it out again.

Hi Gail

Nice to hear from you. If you have a photo of your Pedigree you would like to send to me (at classycanopies@blueyonder.com ) I will put it on the website.

Kind regards
Pat.

i have loved prams all my life and was so happy to find your sight. i have about 10 dolly prams and 8 full size ones. would have more but running out of space. have used all for my grandbabies. a different one every day. my neighbors think i am crazy they call them the cadilac of carriages and i say they sure are. always receive coments when strolling. really enjoy all the pics.

Hello Lou Ann

I'm pleased to hear that you don't just collect prams but that you use them as well! It's your neighbours who are the crazy ones, they don't know what they're missing, don't let them stop you!

Kind regards

Pat

i only became a prammie this week and thought i was odd but now i see there are loads and loads of you. my pram is a silver cross white body and white mudguard over the back large wheels.it has a navy hood and apron and a oval plaque onthe sides with a posy of flowers on. Can anybody tell me the name of this pram. The wheels have a "w" on the hubcaps.

Hello Sue

You have a 1960s SilverCross Durham, and welcome to the Prammie World!

I have just joined this wonderful site as I have bought my daughter what I think is a 1950's Marmet pram. I am doing a little work on it and will send photos when done.

Just amazed at all the fellow 'Pram-a-holics' out there!
If anyone knows of a "Pram Lovers" group in Ontario, Canada, please contact me!
Thanks for maintaining such a beautiful website!
God Bless!
