Hi, My name is Brian Watson, I'm a writer/director and author. I'm putting a book together based on my earliest memory, that was watching the Queen's Coronation from the comfort of my 1950's pushchair. I am looking for a 50's pushchair to borrow for some of the photographs in the book, we are recreating many secenes from Coronation Day 1953. If you want to see my recent book, 'Black Jacks, Fruit Salads, Cricket Stumps On The Wall', some Waterstones or WHSmiths have it, that book was about growing up in the 1950's, it got in the Daily Mail's Top Ten Christmas Books 2011. My question is do you or any of your members have a 50's pushchair which I could borrow? Whoever helps me will get a credit at the back of the book, as I did in Black Jacks. I am based in Purley, Surrey. Hopefully I'll hear from that elusive 50's pushchair. If you could email me it whould be very kind, Thank you so much. Brian Watson

I have a black Leeway Pram. Metal body, canvas type hood. Its been in the family a long time, something my grandmother purchased used. I know nothing about it and this is the first mention of "Leeway" I could find.
Would appreciate any information you have about. Thanks

Love the website. Both my sons had second hand Wilson prams, beautiful and so easy to push. Wish I'd kept them to pass to you!
All the best

Has anyone out there got any hints or tips on storing it so it wont go rusty or moldy. Where shall i put it ? The loft or garage ? Hood up or down ? Hope someone can help me, i would be sooo upet if it got ruined !! Thanks Emma x
